Lei Tingjie è l’unica a conseguire una vittoria durante il 7° round del Torneo dei Candidati 2024 sezione Women sconfiggendo GM Kateryna Lagno.
Nella sezione Women del Torneo dei Candidati continuano a prevale le partite concluse in parità che lasciando una classifica stabile: GM Tan Zhongyi a 5 punti seguita da GM Aleksandra Goryachkina con 4.5 punti, GM Kateryna Lagno, GM Lei Tingjie a 4 punti, IM Nurgyul Salimova 3.5 punti ed a seguire IM Vaishali Rameshbabu, GM Humpy Coneru e GM Anna Muzychuck tutte con 2.5 punti.
Il 7° round, ultimo del girone di andata, ha visto GM Lei Tingjie salire nella classifica a sguito di una interessante vittoria su GM Kateryna Lagno, combattuta fino alla 36esima mossa con poco più di un minuto sull’orologio e poco meno per l’avveraria.
Come è andata la partita di Lei Tingjie?
La GM Lei Tingjie con i pezzi bianchi è riuscita a portare a casa una vittoria contro la GM Kateryna Lagno giocando una partita molto complessa.
Con apertura sviluppatasi in un Giuoco Piano le due candidati si sono trovate nel medio gioco, mossa 20, con una particolare, quanto complessa, situazione di quattro cavalli al centro ed una posizione del tutto equilibrata sulla scacchiera.
Da questa situazione, dopo una serie di scambi, ne fuoriesce in estremo vantaggio il bianco portando un devastante attacco sul lato di re dopo il grave errore del nero 31…Rxd8 che lascia GM Lei Tingjie l’iniziativa e la possibilità di salvare la donna. D’altro canto la donna nera è completamente isolata dalla partita e senza riportarla al centro del gioco è totalmente ininfluente.
Dopo 32.Qc3 b6, 33.b3 (che prepara Ab2) Ab5 arriva la combinazione vincente che obbliga l’avversaria alla resa 34.Cf6+ Rh8, 35.Axh6 bxc5 36.Ch5.
